Facing the Fear

This started with a yes
A calendar hold
A topic I care deeply about
And that familiar feeling in my chest

You want to do it
You know you should do it
But the nerves still creep in

I said yes to being on the Wantrapreneur to Entrepreneur podcast
Not because I felt perfectly ready
But because I knew I had something worth sharing

Real stories
From the messy middle
Where founders get stuck
And operations start to crack
And people wonder if they’re really cut out for this

We talked about all of it
Not from a script
Not from some polished talking points
But from experience

And yeah, my brain blanked a few times
There were moments I stumbled
Paused
Reset
Kept going

But I also showed up fully
I told the truth
I named the stuff no one likes to admit
And I got solid feedback

Not because I nailed every word
But because I brought what was real

That’s the part no one tells you
The scary stuff is the good stuff
The shaky moments are where you grow
Confidence doesn’t come first
It shows up after you’ve done the hard thing

That’s what this experience reminded me
We don’t need to wait until we’re “ready”
We just need to show up
With honesty
With clarity
With our full self in the room

This is how you go from wantrapreneur to entrepreneur
Not in theory
But in practice
One nervous yes at a time
